Abstract: A survey was done in five Nigerian Teaching Hospitals using the questionnaire as an instrument of survey to identify the information needs and seeking behaviour of Nigerian doctors, irrespective of their cadre. All respondents confirmed their dependence on the use of libraries for information, though the frequency varied. The study also affirmed the use of medical journals as the most highly consulted medical resources, followed by books and non-print resources.
